Hunan Stron Smart Co., Ltd., founded in 2007, is a professional manufacturer and total solution provider specializing in STS prepaid smart meters (energy, gas, water), PAYG solar home systems, vending software, and AMI systems.

We boast a robust technical team of around 60 professional engineers, with core members holding over 10 years of experience in the smart metering industry. Our R&D center is situated in Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province, while our cutting-edge Industry 4.0 modern factory is located in Wuhan City, Hubei Province.

In terms of production capacity, our factory achieves impressive annual outputs: 20 million single-phase energy meters, 10 million three-phase energy meters, 3 million smart water meters, 6.2 million collection terminals, and 1.32 million concentrators (DCU). We also take social responsibility seriously—our Wuhan factory allocates 12% of its annual profits to charity and public welfare, having donated over 100 million yuan to institutions like Nankai University and Hubei General Hospital, and a further 1 million yuan to support earthquake relief in Turkey and Syria in February this year.

Prepaid Meter Products & Customization: Supply a full range of STS-compliant prepaid meters, including single-phase/three-phase energy meters (e.g., STE18 series, STE38 series), smart water meters (e.g., STW36 series, NB-IoT ultrasonic water meters), and gas meters (e.g., STG16 series). Products feature IP54/IP68 waterproofing, anti-tamper protection, and support for mobile payments (M-PESA, Alipay, MTN, Airtel). We also provide customization for dual power sources, multi-tariff settings, and communication modules (RF, PLC, GPRS, LORA).
Vending Software Services: Offer Stronpay Vending Software (Windows-based/standalone/web versions) and mobile vending units. The software enables functions like meter/customer registration, top-up management, report generation, and multi-operator access control. Mobile units support on-site TOKEN printing, RFID/NFC, and multiple payment methods (PayPal, credit cards), with GSM/GPRS connectivity to the backend system.
AMI System Solutions: Deliver remote meter reading and control systems, integrating GPRS, LORA-RF, and data concentrators. History

2007: Hunan Stron Smart Co., Ltd. is formally established, marking our entry into the smart metering industry. We lay the foundation for R&D and production of basic smart metering products.
2014: The SANFRAN Technology Center is set up, focusing on in-depth R&D of core technologies for prepaid meters and vending systems, laying the groundwork for subsequent product upgrades.
2017: The SANFRAN Technology Center obtains CNAS accreditation, demonstrating our laboratory’s compliance with international testing standards. This strengthens our product quality control and technical verification capabilities.
2019: We expand our global market presence with key projects—supplying 26,500 prepaid electricity meters to Pakistan and 8,350 STS split keypad prepaid water meters to Tanzania. Our product range also expands to include gas meters and PAYG solar home systems.
2020: We achieve significant market breakthroughs in Nigeria, delivering 32,000 and 17,500 prepaid single/three-phase electricity meters in two separate projects. Additionally, we supply 5,500 STS keypad prepaid water meters to PDAM in Indonesia, solidifying our position in the Southeast Asian market.
2021: Our global project footprint continues to grow—we provide 78,000 prepaid electricity meters to Mali, 23,200 DIN-rail prepaid electricity meters to Kenya, and 4,500 STS prepaid gas meters to Nigeria. We also donate over 100 million yuan to domestic public welfare institutions, fulfilling our social responsibility.
2022: We further deepen cooperation in the Kenyan market, supplying 13,800 prepaid electricity meters and a combined 26,800 prepaid electricity and water meters. In February, our Wuhan factory donates 1 million yuan to support earthquake relief in Turkey and Syria, extending our social responsibility to the international community.
Present: We maintain steady growth in overseas sales, continue to upgrade products (e.g., adding GPRS/LORA communication functions) and software (enhancing web-based vending system features), and strive to become a leading global provider of smart metering solutions.
