Smart Keypad Prepaid Single Phase Electricity Meter With Independent Vending Platform

Stron STE18-A is an STS Standard compliant, keypad type, automatically connection or disconnection prepaid smart electricity meter. It can be top up with Stronpay vending software directly and communicate with AMI system via LORA-RF or PLC module.

Our electricity meters can be topped up directly using the Stronpay vending software and can be topped up remotely via the LORA-RF and LORA-RF module communicating with the AMI system.AMI is Advanced Metering Infrastructure. AMI system is mainly composed of Smart Meter, communication system and equipment, Meter Database Management system, and Meter Database Management system.MDMS).

The STE18-A is an STS Standard compliant, keypad type, automatically connection/disconnection prepaid electricity meter. The integrated keypad is offered to enter recharge TOKEN and check information by short codes. Stronpay electricity vending software could be integrated to local Mobile Money Payment Platform like M-PESA, Alipay, MTN, Airtel, etc. So users can top up PAYG electricity by mobile money without leaving the house. STE18-A has excellent anti-tamper feature like terminal cover open detection

sensor to help utility for revenue protection.

It has three small lights, each representing a different meaning:

(1) The pulse light: when a user normally uses power, the indicator light twinkles according to the pulse constant 1600 imp/KWH.
(2) The warning indicator light: when current reverses, the alarm indicator light twinkles. When opening cover happens or the residual energy is   0, this meter will send out power-off signal to make load switch cut off power, the alarm indicator light will be turned on.
(3) The credit indicator light: when the residual amount is lower than the alarm threshold 1, the power indicator light glows yellow light. And the meter sends out power-off signal to make load switch cut off power to remind user, Power supply can be recovered by pressing any button. When the residual amount is lower than the alarm threshold 2, the power light will glow red light.

How to recharge by AMI System? As shown in the figure below:

1. The electricity meter sends information to the Data Concentrator via LORA-RF or PLC;

2. The Data Concentrator contains Lora-RF/PLC and GPRS modules, which will transmit the information to the AMI through GPRS after receiving the information from the water meter.

3. The AMI receives the information, performs remote recharge, and will generate the recharge TOKEN.It is then sent to the Data Concentrator via GPRS;

4. Data Concentrator receives the information and sends it to the electricity meter via LORA-RF or PLC.
