Product introduction
STE18-A is an STS Standard compliant, keypad type, automatically connection or disconnection single phase prepaid electricity meter. This kind of electricity meter is single-phase prepaid electricity meter. Single-phase electricity meter has the characteristics of high accuracy, accurate measurement, low maintenance workload, high work efficiency, low requirements for transportation and installation conditions, low power consumption, energy saving, good for reducing line loss, strong anti-power theft function, strong overload ability, low failure rate.
The working principle is that when an alternating current passes through the voltage coil and current coil of a single-phase hour meter, the voltage coil and current coil produce two alternating fluxes. These two alternating fluxes and the eddy current generated interact with each other to produce an electromagnetic torque, which pushes the aluminum disk to rotate. The greater the load power, the faster the speed of the aluminum disk. When the current transformer is equipped, the accuracy should not be less than 0.5 levels.
Single-phase watt-hour meter is applicable to commercial buildings and public infrastructure buildings to realize the measurement and statistics of electric energy consumption in different areas or different loads in buildings. Single-phase watt-hour meter is suitable for the statistics and internal accounting of electric energy consumption of different production lines or loads in industrial buildings.




Count electricity consumption over users’ period time. When the meter runs out of power, a warning is issued, and the main system can remotely control the switch and disconnect the network, so the user can no longer use the power. Only when the user recharges and enters the corresponding TOKENS, the network will be connected remotely and the user can continue to use it. In this way, the user can avoid the situation that the user defaults on the electricity bill but continues to use electricity endlessly, and help the supplier to better manage the user.
Main characteristics and functions

●Prepayment function:users get electricity after payment, the power will be closed after using up electricity.

●Data storage:internal data can be kept 1 year.

●Alarm function:buzzer will give alarm.

●Load control function:meter can be programmed for load control threshold, If the current power is more than threshold. The meter will cut off          user load.

●Prepaid & post-paid switch:meter can be switched to prepaid mode or post-paid mode.

●Event recording:meter can record the event of tamper, open cover, purchase and TOKENS.

●Self-testing:meter has a self-test function, it can test LCD and relay etc. and report the results directly.

●Anti-tamper:valve will automatically be closed after detection of magnetic field and open cover event.

●TOU Tariff:TOU tariff can be set by inputting corresponding TOKEN on request.

●Overdraft Collection:electricity overdraft can be collected daily or monthly.

●Communication:the meter is available with AMI system through RF-LoRa or PLC on request.

●Information Inquiry:by inputting short codes,consumer could check the data like credit remain, total purchased and total credit.

By the third party platform or local mobile payment with API

API is application program interface, which is the agreement connecting the third party APP and our Stronpay vending software.If utility is remote for users to go,they can use the third party APP to recharge where they can receive the TOKEN by SMS and then input TOKEN to complete the recharge.
